OK, so basically, we can use this thread to chat about the battle league, and suggest any additions you wish to see.
Just to let you know, tables will be updated on Sunday's or Monday's, where as I will try to get the battles for the new week up ASAP, and will usually do it on Saturday after Week (*) Concludes. I know that the aesthetics of the Tables aren't the best, but doing them manually on the forum would take an age. If anyone has any better ideas as to how to show them, please let me know. Any stats and rankings that you can think of that can be added, let me know and I'll try my best. Also, al a Week 2's Preview thread, if there are any extra's that can keep the interest high in this, just shout them out here. |

My suggestion which just popped into my head after reading your previews/reviews.... what if you got someone else to do said reviews with you for week 2?
Voting has been phenomenal, but just for the sake of throwin' it out there simply as an idea... would be to apoint 3 judges to judge battles... obviously 3 expeirenced members who have shown they have a true understanding of punchlines and wordplay.... kinda like in the battles you see online... they'll have 3 judges... and sometimes they'll even say there should be a round 2, because the battle was so close. There. Suggestions. |

The preview / review thing was literally a spare of the moment thing. It started out as me just writing a post saying thanks for all showing, and just developed into something more..!! I think I'll continue with it myself for this season, to try and get some stability behind it, then maybe pass it over next season to an established writer.
As for the judge thing, I had already considered it, but if a judge goes inactive, for whatever reason, it screws everything up. I'd rather rely on the entire community to vote, ahead of just three selected people. |

truss... this would give battlers even more motivation towards this league if records were on the line i know me personally didnt come hard at all week 1 just with the thought of what we are acctually battling for crossed my mind? we already have rankings on LA... so this is just like a second ranking systembut yeah if records were on the line it would give a little more reason to go hard every week !
