You will when you reach 50 posts and not a moment sooner. It is the same for everyone who signs up, it gives you a chance to get to know the place, The How to Get Started guide, the Battle Rules & the Site Rules. It saves you from making the same mistakes almost all new members make. 

Anyway it doesn't take long to attain 50 posts if you actively contribute to the site, but be careful everyone knows the difference between actively contributing and spamming/trolling.
