Not a bad idea.

Scarface was kool but I heard it was so good before watching it that it didn't live up to its own hype.

Entourage - Entertaing in a silly way, a timely ender to the series. Dice roll 3\6.

Straight Outta Compton - Great move, terrible biopic. 4\6.

Age of Ultron - A true popcorn flick, nice effects, unoriginal plot. 4\6.

Mad Max Fury Road - Surprised me, dope scenery, decent story, flaming guitar guy.  5\6.

That VFX tho, it was pretty simplistic kind of story I mean not something I would want to see in a movie featuring aliens and stuff ! Bringing back that VFX is really a turn off considering other movies released lately..
But yeah opinions may differ....

Call me crazy, but I think effects hurt the scifi genre entirely. Writers rely on their effects as opposed to coming up with good dialogue.... Or I'm just a hipster.... Probably the latter.

I think the last film I saw was Skyfall, after going through my Bond boxset.

Quite a while back I couldnt figure out what it was about the bond films that set it apart from others, it took me a while to realise it was partly based on they're use of scale models instead of CGI, even though you can clearly see it's a model, it really adds to the film when you know it's real - regardless of size.

Plus films like Bourne films suck due to to much explosions and fights and not enough story and humour.
