Suggestions, Comments & Problems: Lyrical Assault Store...

i suggested a while back (well nearly a year ago) doing a LA Store... using CafePress... yet no one really liked it

but the ideas back - but different...

after talkin to jez (abstract/raptor) ive thought up an idea..

i was thinking of making an online shop, where people could sell there Audios thru the site to other members, or visitors.

the way it'd work is, you give me your MP3, and tell me how much you wanna sell it for, then we agree on my fee (for selling it for you, and hosting the file etc) and then i submit it to the site, and people by the audio thru paypal, then the site allows them access to downloading the mp3, i get the money, then i pass it on (thru paypal) to the creator (minus my fee of course)

if this works, maybe it could extend to other stuff like CDs, etc who knows


anyway just wondering who'd be interested in buyin or sellin thru LA?

also if anyone has ideas or questions - post them up here

It's hard enough getting people to listen to audio's as it is, who in their right mind would buy one? 

But as we're on the subject of profit and sales, I could give you a few prints to sell, it's whatever, I have't got a mic yet, so that's all I can contribute.

The market is way too small, plus paypal charges u for usin it so ya profit margain wud be too small to make it work (Or u cud have higher prices for audios but then no1 wud buy them)

U cud try albums but I doubt that people would have the facilities to make a album worth buyin here and even if they did then they wudnt be enuf people on here to buy the album to make it worth ur while in terms of makin money...

U wud need more consumers, a lot more

Idea's Not bad but ''Audios'' is too small i wudnt Buy a Single Track..id Prob buy An Album If i was cool with Emcee or they Were Good jus to Support them..But i wudnt bother payin for a single Track they'll prob jus Upload to soundclick.

 

Ukhhf Do this Except they get free hosting  and they only do Albums,Mixtapes,Gfx.

Not bad...but I agree...one track is to small. A cd with lots of tracks from audios from the people on the site could work..but before that could happen, and you make any money...you gotta get the word about the site out there...other wise you will be putting in more money than what is coming in. You have to think about shipping costs to... Cause you could get orders from across the world or some shit ..... That could cost you more than your selling your whole cd. Its good , could work..just a lot to think about and other shit may have to come first.
