Open Mic: Drug Possession

Yo...

Arrested in a cell after I was caught with possession,
They thought that the law would have taught me a lesson,
They couldn't get a confession so said words of abuse,
Cos all they found was some ganja for personal use,
Not enough for a trial... just one night in a cell,
Just enough time for me to write... describing this Hell,
I didn't tell them the secret location of my stash,
Or reveal my dealer was a piece of white trash,
Police treat me like a junkie... they think they've imprisoned a criminal,
Tried to make me sign a false statement full of hidden subliminals,
I may be on dope... but I'm not stupid,
I know the drug-dealers and police have colluded,
They labelled me a crook... and that's the reason I hate them,
Hypocrites will get ripped after legalisation,
But weed will always be illegal until we change public perception,
It's the media that are always calling drugs into question,
They associate all drugs with muggers and crack addicts,
But in truth... to me marijuana's a harmless bad habit,
So I promote dope... I won't treat the world with kid gloves,
Because I believe it'd be a better place if we all did drugs...

You all came with ya signature styles and were all very good... 20, tho yours was a true story, some of it seemed too "typical", which is sad in a sense so many people are made to feel that way but nonetheless when it's put in rap u can see what I mean when I say it's hardly the first time we've heard it put like that... I thought Perfecto's was dope, maybe the dopest, just seemed to keep me reading more even tho it was the tamest with regards to the use of drugs, just a pot head but yeah, it was really convincing, again a true story from what I can make out... Ice ya shit was good, signature Ice shit, I liked the amount of emphasis and different methods used to describe ya addiction, and it was all worded to fit into a pretty tight flow and scheme, we should call you slick rick, or flowin' owen... yea good shit all three...peace
