Ikon - Possibly one of the best on this site, has always been consistant with his drops and as he proved against me, can hold his own in a topical battle though he prefers to battle normall i feel he deserves a chance King Jehu - Everything iv ever seen him drop on this site has been dope, not read many of his topical peices but iv read his battles and i think he'd be just as dope if not doper in topical and would be a great addition to a great battle Exoduzt - Read his topical peices of late, self explanatory why i think he should be in the battle really, if we want the best battle we need the best participants and imo he's one of them ILLA - Same reasons as above really, dope at text would be a great asset to the battle and has done enough and dropped consistantly enough to deserve a spot |

Senor Perfecto- His style would be well suited to topicals, he could go far in this
Jehu- Seen some of his shit in the archives, was very nice indeed, and I haven't seen him drop for ages either... ExoDuzt- Top-notch lyricist basically, I'd like to see him fulfil his potential in a tourney Kay B- been dropping nice verse for a while now in Open mic and topical battles, deserves a chance really |

my 4 votes would have to be sparta, kay b, jehu, and game... Sparta-I'm picking sparta based upon his performance with kay b...I think if he drops using his potential, I think he could go far... kay b-obviously choice since he basically specializes in topicals...everyone knows its what he does best...
Jehu-He just a good overall writer...most of his open mic (from when he was more active) were very descriptive and lyrical...think he'd be good
Game-Another overall good writer...based on hos topical with kay b i think he'd do good in the tourney as well...
If i had a couple more votes they would go to illa, duzt and myself...
Illa cause hes another good overall writer that could go far...
Duzt cause he style seem like it would work in tpical
And me cause I'm another good overall writer, and I have dropped pretty good topicals...I think i'd d good...

I'll be basing my vote on a combination of skill and activity in topicals... Basically who offers the site the most in this category... peeps like stalin, illa, senor, and PB are like me... can do it hot, but i dont feel we deserve a chance cuz we dont offer as much to 'em as the other contestants... just my personal opinion... And then the rest either aint active enough or don't stand a good chance against the named opponents...
Anyways... Kay B... Obviuos reasons why... A top notch opponent in topicals ExoDuzt - Another obvious pick... The best at what he does King Jehu - Is the only exception I'll make on the activity scale in Open Mics...Neva disappointed me in any of his drops Made LA's Open Mic what it is today in my opinion... - Will he have time to drop though with his busy schedule? sparta- Great competitor...lays it down with style, and easily holds his own in topicals. I have to agree with kay...
Mackie, Liquid, Harlem, DTK, XTC vote should be disallowed because they are not explained...not even attempted...

Illa... consider having more than five Members taking part in this tournament and thus making it more open...
I suggest that anyone may enter the tournament provided they submit their verse by the deadline... Votes may take place for all those verses based on the nominated topic... and the writers of the five best verses go on to a second round in which a new topic is chosen and the five writers compete between themselves to become the eventual tournament winner...
