I'll just feed one at a time....
Nigma - nice imagery and vocab. Definitely had a solid insanity type vibe. Really liked that "Rock endorses" play, perfect place for a pop culture reference so that the verse doesn't get too overly poetic. I wouldn't have minded seeing a few more lines like this in it spaced out within the verse, but still you set the tone nicely. Liked the Muhammad and Allah line alot but I think it would've been a smoother bar overall if that last line was reworded. You've got good vocab and you can rhyme well, my best advice is to not get so caught up in the multi game that you make it hard to follow in spots or end up with something that the reader will have to stretch his imagination to get. I think you generally keep it on the line, but it may throw some people off. These are minor points mind you, it was a solid verse and like I said earlier I like that y'all all came with a unique style, it compliments the theme well. To be continued..... |

Really liked that distillery in my basement play, good play and sounded smooth. This verse seems to be quite an improvement over what I read from you in the past, whic is always a plus. But trust your putting a verse up in a collab with the top writers on the site here, so just make sure you really step it up each time you collab with this caliber of writers. You had some good plays and nice thoughts here, my only advice is spend some time polishing your verses. With a bit of rewording and smoothing out on this it could have been even stronger. That's just keeping in mind that you know the other guys are gonna drop top shit yanno. But overall this was nice and like I said I see you getting better so stay at it bro. To be continued...... |

What I liked is that most people on the collab really do seem a little insane in their own way, so it was a believable theme... Nigma had a creepy Fritzl thing going on, some really good concepts in there that could have really been fleshed out well in a longer verse, Manc with the current affairs shit which I've always liked and some hefty rhyming to start, Goose's was trippy seemed the most natural of all the verses, which I liked, and the mental/pencil bar was my favourite to be honest, as simple as it was, reminded me of something Eminem would have written before he turned all angsty, shouty, sorta-gangsta and sorta-wack... Levy's I felt was the least 'insane'-like but it was smooth, I almost had a Holyfield line in myself -- not that one -- but in any case I kept it to one sporting reference only Yeah it's a shame the only replies we seem to have had are from people on the collab, but thanks to J5 for taking the time out. I guess this can happen, Open Mic is so competitive these days, much more so than ever before, so shit can get lost I deliberately requested Levy snuck me in on some ninja shit btw, it's just part of some shit I'm on at the moment...it'll all make sense at some point...he reached out to me and I really liked the idea, which is why I ended up going with it... more collabs need themes

The concept was sick i loved this shit. Levy i can go back mnths ago when u were writing and u have upped ur vame immensly. Prolly top 5 most improved. Every one of ur verses tops ur old shit. U started out slow the cirst two bars then u went in. I liked how u rhymed a multi at the beginning and end of ur last two bars and kept goin wit it shit was dope. manc u had a classy tone to your verse that opener was fire not mention u followed the same scheme for another bar. That kennedy bar was the best line in here. You have a killer inner outer pattern i saw u do it on the last om. Goose that opener had me laughin that was sick man. That ink blots line was fukn crwzy. U switched up the traditional cocky goose style and came with a different approach thats dope that u came at it that way. that short bar style worked well for you. Orion Ur verse was a diff approach u started out breaking down the meaning of insanity and then u highlighted ur achievements and related it to that which was pretty dope. U also had that im the king of this shit tyoe of vibe. I like the cockiness. My fav part of ur verse wyld be were u started at u keep wat i let u keep scheme it had an authoritative tone to it pretty dope. Overall this shit really was insane good drop from everybody |

First off... Dat flow. When you switched it up, it just kept on firing. Your whole verse was technical madness , just some diabolical type shit. That Kennedy play was nice and right on time I might add, nice nod to your classic "in the news" drops from back in the day, crazy bar right there. Really feeling this verse, you went the technical route here and brought something fresh. Like I said before, the fact that people came with uniqueness over uniform made this standout and I see you really going outside the box on this one. Well done. This was crazy. I mean like, you came at this in a mentally unstable style and made it work nicely. Loved the ink blots line, Keebler Elf play was insane and love the body rental concept. I really enjoyed the way you tied things together at the end of this and the wordplay was the icing on the cake.
