Open Mic: Reflection of Self

I write from a higher place higher than flying planes
Cruise the entire race and come in first place
Once I finish a piece and pick up a pen and unleash the beast
I reach an inner peace, achieve it just to feast and leech
On the dark thoughts from within and that part rots
And festers til my eyes darken and heart stops
I march on until my feet bleed and my knees are weak
What does it mean when i have a need to reach
When I'm not content where I'm at, feels unpleasant
While I tear it up like a bad adolescent
Nahh I'm not messing yes this is a blessing
But writing with negative energy is depressing
And I'm wrestling with the ape inside me
It wants to tear open the black hole gaping inside me
Aside from the crazy shit occasionally there's amazing bits
That makes me think why would you go changing this

I spit fire like I'm charizard you can't break me 'coz my bars are hard
Ain't no sunshine when my thoughts are dark I'm Polaris the way I'm a star apart
Imma half your heart just for shits and giggles ain't no way imma fit in the middle
Leave confusions when I throw blows the way I hit with a riddle
I throw cheap shots like dropping Whiskey in Lidl and I ain't even mad bro
It's like watching 2 girls and a cup the way it's a crap show
Call me Peter Sutcliffe when I grab hoes the doubters? I stab those
I eat competitors like they're Nachos and backhand them acting macho
I clap slow like winning on GTA camera on me and see me slay
All the sheep today seeing blood drip leaves me feeling great

Thanks for the feed Trizz and Lethal, These were actually 2 different verses I was going to drop individually but on reading them both i saw they were very similar in subject so i just thought to drop them both as one Open. That's why the second verse has longer lines than the first lol. But thanks for the feed it is appreciated and helps me grow as a writer. 

Shanks,This was a pretty nice read. You had some internals and the flow was consistent and simple. I also liked the direction and content that you dropped here. I think there is some barrier that is stopping you from getting to the next level. You have everything in place and I want to see more intricate pieces with more complex flows/schemes and some upped vocabulary. You have been really consistent since I have joined. I want to see you drop something with more depth technically. I saw you hit me up in the PM's and we do a collabo brothaman.
