Good to see you about Jazz,yeah you got that 90's vibe cracking in this piece,
the flow was as smooth as the surface of still water,as flex pieces go this was nice i thought,contents wise it was pretty much nailed also,the naming of 90's rappers was a cool touch,and talking of cool,that bar about the Jamaican sledge team was solid,(ill stress here and now though,i love me some old school Hip Hop,but i call old school the 80'sthe likes of Big Daddy Kane/Biz Markie/Skully D/Young MC/GMF/Slick Rick and so forth),anyways good to read you about an this was an nice read..peace. |

Yep. This was a more modern flow of today mixed with old-school type lyricism. Not corny and refined to fit today's standards.
Like Sammy said, some more creative punches and technical goodies would have made this piece stand out more, but you got your point across with a nice, strong vibe which you hit on well, and what you referenced was cool. You've definitely improved since your last visit here and if you keep up with this elevation, you'll go a long way to solidifying yourself with a more stand-out, meaningful drops. |
