Open Mic: Flex Press

My favorite line is the one about hiding the needle marks. I appreciate that this was a fresh flow, seen through your use of current events. There wasn't a very complex rhyme scheme but the content was amazing. I don't know how much value my feedback can really bring, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. It makes me want to see your battles.

I liked the fact this flex verse was blunted in its delivery,no abstracts or twist,
just straight in your face flexing,the no fucking around the Bush approach was
in essence refreshing really,as a lot of flex pieces of late tend to go around the
houses before coming to the punch or similie/metaphor,not here though,it was
set up bam,set up bam,almost like a quick fire rhyme scheme,& seens as you've
got someone who wants to battle you and Cuba (Zin),this serves as a caution too
for you,so win win,aggressive and gritty this..i liked it..peace.

pretty nice flex piece here, overall cleanly worded lines and neatly structured, "see no stars" was my fav here. 

I really like this... This was blunt, and the simple approach to the punchlines enhanced that.

You didn't make me think, but you allowed me to relate to you, which in a flex piece, is important.

It's not about complex material to wow us, it's talking us down and it does that well.

That's not to say you lacked in material, it's the opposite. There's some clever bars here, especially the hide/concealing->dope/needle marks line. Very nice tie-ins to work in tandem.

Only thing I wasn't keen on was the repetition of the word stirred.

That's dope how you did some stuff with words. Pretty cool punches here and there dislike the "plus pussies run when I flex this heat" line because the word plus takes gangsta away.

Imagine this. "Sup blood? Caught you lacking and you ain't want no smoke. I got the hammer blood! Plus this one time, at band camp... "

See? Band camp ain't gangsta.
