Kay: Opener is way too basic. Nothing there really tbh... Next bar is dope tho. I would have started off the verse with this. Remember, its important to start and end with bangers... Lol, next bar is good. Worded well... Not feeling the Stalin bar tho. You're way too experienced of a battler to be using these type of lazy ass statement punches... Two votes line is good tho. You did a good job of incorporating this into a good personal... Free pass punch was a total swing and miss. Even if he used that against you, this still wouldnt be a good punchline, considering you're on the defensive... Not feeling the next punch either. It seems like you're reaching for ideas now... Closer is just poor. In order to have worked this idea, you needed to deliver it ALOT better. Seems rushed as hell with sloppy wording.
Overall, this wasnt a "bad" verse, it jus was very good, considering all the misses you had. You 3 really solid punches that i thought were hot and the rest seemed either rushed or delivered sloppily. I know im coming off as really critical, but I expect better from a battler of your caliber.
DMH: Lol @ opener... nothing spectacular, you made something outta nothing... Next punch is good. I liked how u worked this. Old school type of punch, so good shit... Hahaa, point punch is dope. Great wording and delivered well... Damn, handling heat play is dope too. You strung along two hot punches which makes ya verse hit that much harder... Next bar is ok. I hate these type of punches where you flip or re arrange names. Its noobish and been done to death. The play itself was cool tho... Ashely Cole line is hot... You worked this very well and had nice wording... Scotland bar is cool. Not a banger but a good enough jab to round out ya verse... Closer is ok, considering I've seen this before in a previous tourny.
Overall, you had a really good verse. You brought fresh ideas and incorporated good wordplay with some nice personals. Your style really translates well to this site. Keep up, dude, i can see you really doin some damage in the fields.
DMH takes this one pretty comfortably. Kay's verse just had too many misses to keep up with such a hot verse that DMH had.

ok damn, I know kay said he was short on time and probably rushed it a bit, considering that still a nice verse some nice punches liekd the clown one, but madhatter had a better verse here for sure, the whole verse was nice in particular liekd the point less bar and the closer, Although in saying all that, i tried the YAK punches previously and got criticised for it, Either way madhatter won this.

I swear, Sass must be reading a different battle. DMH took this battle with a consummate ease. Ashley Cole / Grit in Scotland / Holding Heat / Closer were all solid punches. Kay had a couple nice bars, the second being the stand out for him, but DMH came with much more fire power. Some nice flips thrown up in there, and decent flow. Kay was obviously below par, as he said, he keyed it due to little time, but take nothing away from DMH here. Solid verse.

Kay brought a decent verse but didn't manage to throw any amazing punches...could of ok ones in there, couple of duds (three/free wordplay is weak, for example)...on the flip side, DMH had a really smooth flow and quality rhythm to his verse (plus style points) as well as a range of quality hits...some weren't as sharp (handling heat) but others were razor (Ashley Cole, lack grit) Overall, DMH had a better verse, stronger hits and was more consistent...makes me go votey votey in his favour
