Cuba: first two bars were solid. Nothing really stand-out, but decent opening bars. Marcus bar was good, although the play on his name is a bit obvious (not sure if it's been done before). 4th bar was alright, a little indirect IMO. I like how each of your bars are connecting and transitioning well from each other in terms of the content, but this "syndicate bet" punch felt more directed at the others in his crew...Next bar was decent...Closer had the potential to be a killer bar but I thought the wording wasn't the best. Overall- solid, clean verse
Levy: Opener had the potential to be much better. As is, it's weak with that wording...The punch isn't really worded aggressively. Would've switched the wording around (start with Cuba must be star-gazing the way he's riding...). 2nd bar was real good, although it's been done before (I believe). Still, good bar. 3rd bar wasn't working for me...weak setup ("no dose") and the wording of the punch was awkward. Castro bar was alright. The Dress bar was a solid hit. Closer wasn't doing much for me tbh. It's funny, at least. Overall - A decent verse but needed a tweak or two to be more polished IMO. Overall - I think Cuba took this with a more consistent verse. His verse, as a whole, was more polished and connected. I think Levy had a couple bars worded a bit tamely for me. Other than that, it was a solid battle. Good job to both. V/Cuba
