Pretty basic but that's not necessarily a bad thing... I quite like the melody... when you do introduce that snare half way through I feel like it would work better every other bar rather than every bar... then the switch-up after the vocal sample is quite cool as well. The sound quality isn't great - I dunno how much of that is deliberate (808s are chic, life doesn't make sense anymore) but yeah there's a hypnotic quality to it... what I would say is that this beat would need somebody with shit hot presence to make it work as a track... I mean you could say that about any beat of course, which can be ruined by a bad performance, but I think this more than many needs a consummate pro to make it work

I have a hard time making simple beats, but I love listening to them, lol. This was cool, because the tempo was in a sweet spot for a lot of types of flows.
