   I once was ice when a bomb sufficed

Clinched the summit thrice, since I was toppled twice

Weaknesses exaggerated like an apostles vice

Jesus wept I’m in debt to inept vessels of men

So I sculpt my body in protest with kettles n bells

Every day I swing in hopes of a knockout blow

Come a long way from a dropout Joe

Left my past in the ash as a Phoenix rose

Now I gotta keep running coz those demons close

Compromised everything I stand for, for the sake of survival

Hold myself accountable even though I don’t rate the reprisals

Gotta make peace…or I’ll be a Ukrainian scorched

Thought I saw the light, like a Vibranium torch

But I marvelled at a mirage my mind had warped

Spent thirty-five years living my life as a corpse

Took a couple of blue pills from the hand of a Morph

Now I’m showing up short like a dancing dwarf

Freewheeling so much it’s like I mastered Porsche

Going flat out, missed the turn and crashed the course

I been down so low was in a world of last resorts

You couldn’t comprehend what was needed to smash those thoughts

If I didn’t have my sons…man, that’s a harrowing hall

When you been down memory lane and narrowed it all

My art is the truth, the time when I channel the spirit

My words release my essence and dismantle it’s limits

My scripts are forever, a tattoo on time itself

If you’re a lost soul, trust, the rhyming helps

Dedicated to my craft, outlast the awards

My bars banish the bandits that battle for rewards

Similes in soliloquies like a mirror of reality

My flow forced down your throat like you were drinking in the gravity

If you came to challenge me, with the aim to balance me

That way’s a fallacy, you’d face a grave disparity

You’d need a maze of sanity to shake my clarity

Better to save face like a patron saint of vanity

Built a marques tower from my darkest hour

Where I worship my own idol I carved with power

My own lifeforce I sacrificed on an alter of ice

So don’t cross this mother fucker if you value life
