I don't see it counting if you don't write it in the open mic. Example. Ima recording 2 16 line verses, and going to put a chorus as well. When I post it, I will write only the verses but post an audio.
With the increase in audio interest, it maybe worth doing the Kota Separate tho. And rut, I feel you. I prob re-record every quatrain (4lines) about 10-20 times till I'm satisfied with it. Once you get that down:.. wait till you try to mix... even harder! |

Christ, every 4!? I used to do the hooks and records all my verses in one take. If I messed up on verse 2 or whatever I'd either start over or cut. Every 4 lines lol |

If I'd mess up something, even a word, I'd do the entire verse over again. I remember this one track where I had to do the verse like 9 times over again because I messed up on one line. It got progressively worse too lol

same, I single word didn't come out right, I re do it. Also if my cadence got fucked up... or if im doing a vocal inflection, but I missed it on a word, or the inflection came out wrong.

It's hard to capture the emotion and delivery sometimes. Makes the part sound flat, so you got to re-record. Plus I didn't do any mixing until recently, so it was very important to get the beat recording possible since I wouldn't edit them. I still find myself holding same standards tho, makes mixing and editing easier if it's just done better
