I will be trialling a different approach to the rankings. Instead of being based on active member it'll be based on active battlers.

Since active battlers is impossible to do, the next best thing is to use the date your battle score was last updated.


If you are now 'unranked' but think you should be, then post in here and I'll check it out.

Would also be interested in peoples opinions of the rankings.

it dont matter really but im interested in why i'm unranked.. couldn't get a battle in cuz i had 4 open for about a month. If you can tweak the system for something like that than it should run by active voters..

Seems theres a few people who aren't ranked but should be, so I'll need to look into that. Will be sorted before next Mondays list.

idk my bad.. I meant instead of the last time your text score was updated, the ranking system (wither you are ranked or not) should be determined by the last time you voted.. if that's even possible.

That would be impossible. Since it would be a post in the battlefields, it could be you setting up a battle, dropping your verse or even worse, upping your battles. There is the minor chance it might be a vote, but since nobody votes, I doubt it.

Smooths correct, it's all automated. Updated every Monday morning. There's a page on it here

All I did was change it from Last_Login to Score_Updated. But obviously something has gone wrong somewhere.

It is based on the last time the battle score was updated. This is the only way to work out if someone is an active battler or not.

Obviously this is not reliable, for example if a battle takes over a month to be closed, or a battle score was wrong and is corrected. Bare in mind, it is not people who battled in the last week or had a battle closed in the last week. I think the time frame is 2 months. So anyone who's battle score was updated within the last 2 months SHOULD be featured in the list.

There is also clearly something wrong with people who should be there not being featured and others who shouldn't who are. I will hopefully look at it tonight. But bare in mind this is a trial to see what kind of list is generated when using the battle score date. I may decide to revert back to the old system if it is either to small or inconsistent.


*edit* Just checked and D Vour's last battle was closed on 14th Feb, so he fits within the previous 2 months and should be listed.
