this is more like a promotional poster, logo usually something small and simple as a symbol of the company, ie the nike tick.
though this could could as a logo i presume, i like the things individual, hand is the best by a mile, blue is pretty cool, the text says activist poductions i think, but its hard to read, and im not a big fan of the music sumbol, maybe a little too much white aswell. |

a few examples of what i would call logo's Amazon  Google:  Yahoo  Microsoft  These are their corporate image, and is easily recognised as them. Yours is more text over a hand. Which is perfectly fine as a promotional poster, but isnt really a logo. This though, is all just my opinion - which you are free to ignore. ------------- |

If people can't understand what is says, they're not gonna waste their seconds trying to figure out. The point of a logo (I know that's not one) is to catch someone's eye, which Yahoo and Google do better than Microsoft. A logo can also be like the Apple on Macs. It doesn't have to have a name or just words, but it has to be something that people can identify with the brand/person/company/artist (like the backwards "E" in Eminem's name sometimes). ------------- Insert something rappy here |

Not feeling it. The people who are gonna see this (presumably) are people who have no idea about graphics. Therefore, they don't give two fucks about how you made it, how long it took etc. If it doesn't get the message across at first glance, it's bollox. |

How about I don't....^that sig isn't any better...nor the ones you did before it... Mines was done much better regardless of how it came out...It's much better than laying some letters over a pic dude... I agree with ya point, Wasn't thinkin bout that...was just bored and decided to play in photoshop, turned out pretty good for someone who's not a graphic head that didn't use any tuts either...just fuckin with shit...lol... Thanks Jehu, thats very helpful, I'll keep that in mind while trying to develop a 'true' logo -------------
