Here are my two cents: Always try to give a detailed feedback while dropping feed and votes( i do not suggest this at this point) And , go through the tutorials aswell. I don't know the exact number but it's about 50. However it's points not posts. Posts count towards your points but there other ways of earning points, such as making worthwhile quality posts. Just post naturally and you'll be able to battle before you know it. But try and game the system and it'll be a lot harder, if not worse. ------------- |

I've now just reviewed the full first page of open mics and the second page up until your open mic. These are the facts: 1. You got three pieces of feedback, two of which were from extremely experienced members of LA. One with multiple classic open mics. One who has had at least 2 recording contracts that I'm aware of. 2. You gave 1 piece of feedback in the threads I reviewed. You did not return the feedback to either Chain or Neek. Never has the phrase YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN been more appropriate. The point of this original post is that, as a newbie to the community you need to establish your credibility. If people see you moaning & not returning feed and wanting to battle but put the minimal required effort in when it comes to voting how do you think they will judge you? I don't want to come across too harsh as perhaps you commented on other Open Mics before you dropped. One piece of advice I would give you is this: Go and open all the open mics on the board before you reach your own. Notice how many Neek & Chain commented on (& these are guys with nothing to prove) and compare that to how many replies they have on their work. Surprisingly they didn't come into this thread and moaned, they went into the Open Mic and did the work you should be doing. -------------
