Hey guys,

So I started building a little home studio set up where I can sit down and be motivated. Basically I've got a token and StompDownKillaz shirt, the SDK shirt is autographed by Merkules. I'm waiting on a vocal shield to come in off Amazon, it should help give a more studio sounding track.

Anyways hip hop wise that's what I've been up to lately

So this is the place you been creating that magic, looks good fam
Do you sit down to record?......
I would move the mic. away from the computers noise and lift it up to the curtain shelf, soft furnishings help to dead out unwanted sound....
Looking forward to your next drop homie keep working on that back catalogue the broader the better

I can dig the setup. Only 1 thing. Nigga stop rapping sitting down, lol. Stand up. Feel the flow, create the swagger behind the microphone. Get comfortable with it. Other than that it's a nice set up.

Lol I dunno man it works for me I might buy a standup stand here they're cheap. I just find it convenient to be able to edit and shit directly after recording, who knows though I might change.

I used to record sitting down, now I mostly do it standing. How he said "create the swagger" , you gotta get in the mindset of the type of delivery you are doing. If it's a laid back chill delivery, fuck it you can get that done on a chair. But most other styles I find it better to be standing and not thinking of other things. Get your mind right before you record. Feel the energy, the swagger behind the words. I been meaning to feed your last drops but haven't yet. There are like 2-3 sections that you rip it and it sounds so natural and raw. Those parts you were in the mindset. The rest wasn't bad but not smooth and natural.

Aon that note, I always recommend listening to tracks with the same type message or sound (as in laidback/energetic/or anything else) to help get your mind right.

Lol y'all can't vibe sitting down? Honestly I can get hype recording doing a hand stand, if I'm in that mood I'll go in on it. How you been L.P.?
