P.S. Blind drops means no flipping...the extension of that idea is "blind drops via PM" because then you don't get the advantage of 'knowing what you have to beat' going second...personally, I don't think you should flip if the rule blind drops is clearly stated.

Which in the case of this tourney, it was...the PM is additional to that.

b) Ask the other battler what they want...DQ, allow it, let them redrop
c) Tell the voters to ignore the flips
d) Allow the voters to vote as they feel appropriate

What do you do if someone ignores the bar limit? Ignores the time limit? Doesn't check in by the deadline? You take appropriate action...it aint rocket science

Because its still Scotty's site.. and he's run multiple tourny's so obviously i'd value his opinion on it..

a)DQ themFor spitting there verse.. that would contradict the whole purpose of wanting to run the tourny..
b) Why should the opponent get that much say into what happens next?
c) You don't tell the voters what to vote on..
d) They're going to do that regardless..

1. Then i'd edit the post and chop off the extra bars.. simple..
2. Time limit in regards to? The amount of time to drop? cause in that case they get DQ'd for No-Show and opponent moves on to the next round..
3. DQ'd/No-Show and opponent moves to the next round..

I don't really care what you do when people flip, because like you said...I'm not in the battle!! I was just clearing up what blind drops actually means...if you want to do drops to PM then go for it, I can see the advantage...just call it what it is. That's all.

Scotty is still lazy.....(just thought I might throw that in there).....so I don't get the whole rely on Scotty advice thing. Hell....he ain't even fixed the crew forums yet....

I was surprised he got around to giving you any sort of power X. You must have been pestering him every minute , interrupting his palm and lotion time. I guess it don't make no sense being in a hurry tho...I mean...activity is sparse and sporadic.

as far as this pet you got X....I see what Cuba and some of the rest are sayin......also I can dig your idea but it does have some kinks that need to be worked out. Luckily Hangin came thru and modded your battle otherwise shit would have been kinda skewed.
