Thryjoe: I see you trying to piece together multis n that but all that doesn't do anything if the punch ain't coming. You got to fit them multis into either a punchline or it has to be leading to a punchline you know? Your should try to get a little more creative with your punchlines also. PS it's not a horrible piece I'm just picking out thugs you could improve on, trying to help.
Beans: I've seen better bars from you but your flow was on point through the whole thing. Couple nice punches but a lot seemed pretty rushed. The melanoma line was pretty dope, prolly the best bar of the battle. Overall it was nice just felt a little rushed. Mvgt: Beans |

Thy joe, well this was.....terrible tbh. Everything was so vague and structured poorly. You didn't even attack him. Those expos are bull aswell, use expo's for reference not to explain what you really didn't make clear in your verse.
You've gog to start somewhere, keep reading other battles, scroll through the archives, look at the tutorials and keep hitting the cyphers. Keep practicing, onwards and upwards. Beans easy win. Wasn't particularly feeling the melanoma bar, the play doesn't work both ways but it kinda worked on a basic level Second one okay not mad in it 3rd I like the play. 4th was fitting/ personal okay again. 5th was very you, aggressive worked. Very one sides, okay verse from beans, terrible from joe. Mvgt beans... Clearly |

U didn't do very well in this battle and it probably wasn't a good first battle to choose against Beans who is a fairly highly ranked battler but can be a good way to understand the craft faster sometimes. Some of your words rhymed and some of your concepts showed that you know what a concept is. Your verse though could have been a poem about noone in particular so needed to be more fuckin' raw and descriptive altogether. Work on your style and multisyllabilic rhymes, your punches and your setups and your research and nameplay and wordplay. Hell, go back to the lab again but stay up and keep elevating. Beans It was evident that from the outset you as a #2 or Suspended rank would outclass a noob 12yo girl on the site lets be honest. To critique you though, 1st 3rd and 5th bars I liked best, some of them looked a bit rushed or like you could have sharpened them more. 4th bar was funniest bar of the battle for me. Ur flow and creativity seemed on point through the verse especially as a quick key. U won but it wasn't a pretty win, I'll put it like that, don't let the importance or lack of importance of a situation allow you to bring any less than your A-game. MVGT Beans |
