Also, I thought about adding Ja Rule, but I remember there being a beef between him and DMX. Where the latter claimed Ja swagger jacked his vocals. But who tf really knows? Ja definitely has presence regardless. Twista I thought about also, but it was a toss up between him Bizzy and Krazy Bone. Solid list tho. |

Yeah, KRS1 has superb diction and clarity of speech.
I think B Real sound surreal on the mic. So he's a good addition. ODB is a completely character on the mic. Nearly impossible to duplicate, but to the same degree the whole Clan is. For instance Ghost, Rae, Rza, and Gza all have/had mad original voices. Who else y'all got? We should crown a top five at the end (if possible). |

Hmmm... All those dudes are dope rappers with nasty flows and insane lyricism and almost anyone that is successful in rap has a commanding voice, but even tho Nas is probably my all-time favorite, I couldn't honestly say his voice as an instrument is better than Meth's or Busta. Same could be said for say Jay-Z vs DMX. Feel me? |

I'm a bit confused by this...is it just people you think sound dope or it is people who are unique in their sound?
Like when I first saw this I immediately thought ODB, but I don't really think Jadakiss falls into a category anywhere near that. |

Cubes you trippin, bro. Who sounds like Jada? The raspiness, the laugh, the voice inflection. He's not just flowing or rhyming, because even without bars, and like Meth or ODB, his voice sounds like a unique instrument. He's one of those guys that was born to rap and blessed with a god given advantage based solely on virtue of his voice. Like jade has a "sonic sound" you can't replicate. You're probably the first person I've ever heard not feel that way. But it's all subjective. Personally, I'd give him a microscopic edge over ODB in this catagory. . |
