I always thought it was The Base God's fans that were trolling the rest of us. Never in my life have I heard anything from Lil B that wasn't gay (first and foremost), complete trash, or at the very least struggling to be subpar. Yet, you always hear people say when he wants he can rap. I just wonder when does this happen? Who has heard these top secret songs?
Don't get me wrong ... I've heard him "try" to rap for real, but even then it was still pretty terrible. I think the hype comes from him dropping so much incomprehensible garbage, that when he actual rhymes his words and says something halfway relevant people are surprised they actually understand him. But how that turns into him being "dope" or even "good" is beyond me. Of course I could always be wrong. Is there a Lil B song you could link me to with him spitting some heat? Because to date his best song (in my opinion) is "Vans". |
