So much movie talk, we could have a movie club haha. Somebody pick a movie to watch, everybody watches it, and we discuss the movie the following week.

I watched Scarface for the first time the other day. It's pretty solid.

Not a bad idea.

Scarface was kool but I heard it was so good before watching it that it didn't live up to its own hype.

Just watched the foot fist way- Danny mcbride film. If you like his films check it out. It's awkwardly funny as fuck at times, he's great at playing a cunt

Southpaw - Thought it was a decent film, predictable storyline but entertaining none the less.

Entourage - Entertaing in a silly way, a timely ender to the series. Dice roll 3\6.

Straight Outta Compton - Great move, terrible biopic. 4\6.

Age of Ultron - A true popcorn flick, nice effects, unoriginal plot. 4\6.

Mad Max Fury Road - Surprised me, dope scenery, decent story, flaming guitar guy.  5\6.

That VFX tho, it was pretty simplistic kind of story I mean not something I would want to see in a movie featuring aliens and stuff ! Bringing back that VFX is really a turn off considering other movies released lately..
But yeah opinions may differ....

Call me crazy, but I think effects hurt the scifi genre entirely. Writers rely on their effects as opposed to coming up with good dialogue.... Or I'm just a hipster.... Probably the latter.
