What is Audio Mic
Audio Mic is for your tracks, whether they are beats or spitten verses. Creating A Thread Each thread should contain one song linked off site with a descriptive title such as the name of the song, you can also include other artists featuring on the track in the title. You should aim to only post finished works in Audio Mic. If you want feedback on a work-in-progress, then you should post it to the Elevation Centre forum. This helps keep the site looking professional but still allowing people to improve their work. Mixtapes and Albums For a mixtape or an album, you should post it collectively in the Mixtape forum. Though individal tracks can still be added to Audio Mic on their own. Embedding Your Tracks it is best to use either Soundcloud or YouTube to host your songs, as these can be embedded into the post. To embed your posts, you can use the following codes, removing the * from the BBCodes. SoundCloudBroken Embedding The site has a Rich Text Editor, which allows you to format your posts and see the results straight away. Some times when entering YouTube or other BBCodes, it can add formatting (such as bold or italic) without you realising it, screwing up the embedding code. Linking Your Social Accounts While this is not a requirement, linking your social accounts with your LA account can have produce benefits for you, such as expanding your reach and audience. There are also new features coming in the pipeline that will make things easier. Edited by Scotty32 - 20 May 2015 at 9:30pm |
