One morning, a group of people wake up next to each other in a strange, unknown place. They are in awe at whats around them.

	Battler 3 CLICK. ... was the sound that ... disturbed me from my ... eternal recline Propylene Glycol still burning my eyes ... blurring my sight Sweat on my skin had turned into ice ... and hurt as it dried Other than that I was perfectly fine. Senses all slowly returning in time, now I'm certain that I'm ... Inside of a cryopod ... (the circular kind) ... (with the seat in the middle ... the works on the side) so turning I find a temperature gauge and emergency light I patiently wait ... watch the mercury rise Till the door that's before me then bursts into life. I emerge into light At the base of a chamber of indeterminate size Every space in the place is so surgically white it's perturbingly bright ... till my tired eyes acclimatise I'm virtually blind Then I make out a shape, a shape that's repeating Pod after pod, arranged in a sequence Row after row, straight to the ceiling Each raised and receding like Stadium seating The others who woke are debating the meaning "How did we get here?" ... comparing their last ... moments before ... ... being frozen then thawed ... "A masked intruder was there in the dark!" and some of them were ... aware of a sharp ... hypodermic ... shot square in the arse. But no-one broached the question too scary to ask. I faced unopened pods and I stared through the glass ... Hadn't spoke since I woke, now they dared me to start. Asked if I'd "something to share with the class?" I said "I KNOW why you're here!" ... preparing to laugh, "You don't recognise me now ... I'm not wearing the mask!" I paused just to wait for the swearing to pass. "Yes, maybe I should've declared in advance ... But I'm one of the few who is blessed to be privy ... to Giant Cryolabs in every city, My objective was simply fulfilling a quota To select the unwilling to slip in a coma I just did it for cash and the gift of enclosure ... In a pod of my own when my mission was over" "They said we're ensuring our species survival From each wave of the plagues that we read in bible" But really ... The reason we're fated to freezing in stasis? They said I "don't need to know ... and it's need to know basis!" What we need to know now is ... How many pods opened ... just Nineteen or Twenty? If there's thousands still closed ... then why are they empty? Gotta find a way out ... not wait to find out And if you want to survive this you might wanna help me! **** Centuries passed since mans hibernation Computers were given a planned time to wake them But during that time they gained cognitive function Changed all the rules based on logic assumption Man was surpassed as superior species Revival was cancelled ... we're no longer needed. **** ERROR LOG: THE DISINTEGRATION PROGRAM WAS A PARTIAL SUCCESS EXACTLY WHAT OCCURRED THOUGH WILL BE HARD TO ASSESS NINETEEN OF THE PODS DIDN'T SEEM TO DEPLOY SO UNITS HAVE BEEN SENT OUT TO SEEK AND DESTROY

	Sorry this verse didn't get to pitch against another,but the effort put in at least deserves some feedback,Damn this is very creative,the concept was ripe,suspended animation and computers advancing beyond their parameters,and in an ironic way becoming human themselves by the way of wanting to survive and be,the contents/vocab is nothing short of solid,and the imagery you projected was great,i really really liked this offering,ripe work well done...peace.
