Damn hot battle, heres my vote.. Punches: Even Jehu Nice verse, The punches were there, Nice multis and wordplay, The verse was kept pretty much on topic throughout, Good structure, humour, i lost the flow so far through but..nice sick verse. Hanging Yet again nice verse, Loved the imagination you put into this verse, your one twisted fuck..You had punches which i felt equaled jehus, Your flow was on piont and your vocablary was excellent, very sick..enjoyed reading! Last Words This was very close i feel, Jehus verse was longer but hanging included more fetishes in a smaller verse, Pretty hard t pick a winner in this battle because both verses were sick. Vote Because this is a "topical" battle im gonna go with hanging, Simply because he included more fetishes and included nothing much else in his verse. I don't like the idea of listing fetishes at the bottom, 'cuz it's gonna tip off the voters to vote for the person who listed more... Personally, I thought this battle was absolute fire, and one of the best to bless the site for some time. Props to both... Now I dunno exactly how I can give a long speech on this... but I preferred Jehu's verse as it attacked MORE, with the fetish theme constant. Hanging was sicker, which was always gonna be the case -and did cram more fetishes in there - but didn't even meet the line limit, and I know you been busy but considering the time given you shoulda at least got two more lines in there... Aside from that, if I were to categorise it, multis, flow and punch all go to Jehu. Wordplay is much closer, because it's about how you played on the buzzwords in the battle, i.e., the sex fetishes. I liked the way Jehu approached this, and I didn't expect him to come that good, but Hanging just came with a different but equally sickening approach... I also liked the lil bits of alliteration you used. I can't decide which to go with, in theory by "categories" Jehu would win - and I did enjoy it more - but I'ma do the bar calculation thing... I prefer to look at the spit as a whole but fuck it... I've just written all of that whilst deciding and I'm not gonna let it go to waste 'cuz I can't decide... Jehu: 8.4 Close as fuck... Nice battle. It's hard to have a decent flow when you have to rattle off shit like asphyxiation, but the both of you pulled it off well. I'm not voting in categories, because I think that in most cases of topical battles, it can't be necessarily categorized and show the true result, especially in a battle this close. If this disqualifies my vote, I will try to quanitify my vote somehow, but I'm a fair voter... Having said all that, I think flow as a whole was on point for both. At times with both, it seemed like just listing terms and trying hard to rhyme them, but it is more than acceptable considering the topic and concept at hand. Jehu's verse seemed a little more of a battle rap, interweaving clever little jabs at and about hanGing throughout the course of his verse, whilst hanGing went for being more poetic, and a little more indirest with his punches. I saw that "it's not pedophilia if the kid is dead" on a T-shirt before, but that line gives me a chuckle. At any rate, I enjoyed both verses, but Jehu's was clicking more for me, and he had a bit more humour, which I love in a battle. Good job both, but there can only be one winner... VOTE: King Jehu |
