I personally think he'd get his ass beat jus because he's not experienced in goin to ground...he'd get submitted in the first round IMO...

Oh dear. Now as a boxer, i respect him, but hes not nearly good enough to beat these guys. Its called MMA for a reason.!!!! ^Exactly what i was thinkin...he'd have to really train hard in martial arts and work on good take down defense...if he does this and trains really hard, i can see him with a chuck liddell style (stand up puncher and good take down defense) cuz thats the style he'd have to aim for...but yea, it would be a major ppv draw at the very least ------------- |

Erm... he's not a big puncher.! He's got problems with his hands, and the "gloves" they wear on UFC aren't nearly as protective as boxing gloves. It would hurt him a lot to go toe to toe with a hitter. And he doesnt seem to have a physical mass to ground people, they would break him with ease, imo. He light footed, quick and technical, great attributes for a great boxer... in the UFC its a fast train to K.O Town, if you ask me..... ------------- I'm so fucking intelligent, half the time I don't even know what I'm saying... |

big puncher, i mean, someone who likes to punch, would be a sprawl and brawler, to avoid the takedown.
and he is a big puncher, he's fast and has KO power. i seen tha thing bout his hands, if he can KO with big gloves on, it should be alot easier to KO them with 2 oz gloves on. obviously someone weighin 200 pounds is gonna be punching harder, but he wotn be in the same weightclass as the really big hitters, ie sylvia, liddel etc. if he works on the mma side then who knows. |

2 oz gloves will kill him, as theres less protection, isn't that obvious? As for him having KO power, I don't agree. He has K.O Stamina. And thats lethal in boxing. he has the ability, agility and stamina to allow opponents to punch themselves out, before starting to box and eventually get the K.O. Thats not KO power, thats style and class. And no matter how good he thinks he is, if you got a MMA Expert coming at you to take you down, he wont be able to avoid it for all 3 rounds..... ------------- I'm so fucking intelligent, half the time I don't even know what I'm saying... |

he weighs about 150 for fights, he was 147 for the hatton fight
from memory, i think lightweight limit is 155, so he would be close to that thats what i said on the previosu page, your comparing him to hitters who are 50 pounds heavier, he wouldnt be fighting them, its not old ufc. |

But still, they train there whole lives for this, he's trained his whole life for Boxing only. Completely different kettle of fish. He wouldn't last 1 fight in UFC. Factomundo...

its not a factamundo, alot of wrestlers/ boxers / judo / ju jitsu fighters or coming across to the world of mma. they all have a particular skill set, and as its mma, they need to develop the rest. Shit i read the thing and it didnt even say the ufc, ufc is the top fighting organisation, he'll be fighting in some second rate one,
and he's smart, he's ot gonnna jump in unprepared, or go in for a bad stylistic fight, he'll look for a stand up fighter, hoping it stays standing. to say he doesnt have a slight chance is stupid. factamundo lol |
