READ THESE RULES BEFORE VOTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES
  • Elevation
  • Consistency
  • Quantity of output
  • Quality of output
  • Accomplishments (such as tournament wins, winning streaks, big battles)

This is not an ACTIVITY poll, it's about CONTENT; voting IS considered content contribution but shouldn't factor in with more priority than verses or battles.

This is not NEWBIE of the month, it's about who is BEST; elevation IS considered good reason to be made a candidate but quality in content is essential.

RULES FOR VOTING/POSTING

  • All poll votes must be accompanied by an explanation (can be short)
  • Reasons for voting must be relevant
  • Voters must have been reasonably active during the month
  • You can't vote for yourself
  • No bitching, if so you just ruin your chances of inclusion

Great month here...I can see this being a three way race between Tig, Sage and Kay...Kay won the Topical Tourny which is a big accomplishment in itself and Sage has been droppin lots of dope shit and being active in the fields as well (even if it's been against herbs :P) But Tig stands out to me after reading so many dope verses from him early on in the month.

Vote: Tig

For having lots of consistent open mic drop above and beyond the skills of many of the "pros" on the site. My vote goes to Sage.

CHAIN gets my vote. Not big on the battling scene, but I love to read his open mics, and he consistently drops hot.

kay gets my vote...had a couple nice open mic drops...n most importantly, he won the tourny...beating out the likes of freeda, woods, senor, sparta, n a bunch of others...
tig had the 2 hottest open mics this month imo...sage had a couple hot ones too n a shitload of battles...dal, jr, flash n woods all exchanged pretty good disses....freeda n chain held down their positions as open mic mainstays as usual....i dont remember readin much from street in may, tho i kno he dropped som nice pieces in april (i think, maybe it was may tho)....

anyway, i vote kay

I am the one that knocks...

sageone killt it this month, so he gets my vote, swordedstyles comes in second 'cause he dropped some serious heat, i don't fuck with anything but open mic but i congratulate kay for winning the tourny, shit, even woods, dude wrote the illest punchlines this month, straight up, but i still gotta give it to sage

matt and rhymez definitely deserve an honorable mention for keepin shit alive
