well anything anyone writes here will be punchline material -
but could the verses not be due in a week - then votes taking days - imo - thats too long - it should be 2-4 days for verses in, i know people have lives, but no one who enters a tourney should need a week to post up.. or you could leave it so that, whenever the two people post up who are battling, then the verse go up, that way some / all could be finished earlier than say, a week... |

I agree that shorter deadlines are completely reasonable and would make it smoother...but 2-4 days is too short for some people, cuz as u said, they have lives....however, the idea of posting up battles and opening them up for votes as soon as both verses are in is a good one and is what I was planning on doing....anything for the tourny to not get stagnant and die (like most tend to) ------------- I am the one that knocks... |

Referring to me in third person implies you were expecting someone else to field that....but i'll answer anyway.... The problem with that would be that many people would sit around waiting for the other person to submit their verse to even start writing...that would create a problem because the closer we get to the deadline the higher the chance of a no-show (or at the very least, a rushed verse)....there are a few other minor problems with the idea, but that's the blunt of it.... ------------- I am the one that knocks... |

giving a heads up here, im starting uni tomoro.. so im moving down there...
so in all likely hood, i'll be busy / no access to a computer... so i'll do my best to fucks wit the tourney.... but keep that it mind.. i shall hopefully be back on thurs / fri / sat... which should give me time if i aint able to log in during the week...
