Same with "Brighter than before," and "writing's on the wall." Just kinda fell off flow-wise for me at that point, and then came back with the closer, which was well played. Nice verse. Rapdisup: Callin' yourselves newbs isn't smart (even if it's true)! Your punches jus' weren't workin', basically I found a lot of it to be flat-out false statements, which looked wack and desperate. I.e. the "who fuckin' fears ya?!" line, lots of people had Cuba on their lists. No one had you on their list. It's as simple as that. Your closer was wack. Nice try. Stay up. Silber: "My atrocious lyrics?" Seriously... your atrocious lyrics? Smh. My advice is, look up the definition of "atrocious" in the dictionary. What was with going 3 lines with one rhyme, then switching it up on your fourth and going into your fifth? That was pretty fucked up. And I know it's a battle, but saying Cuba has a terrible flow and a lack of skill? Compared to you? Come on, man, who do you expect to believe that? Wack verse. No heat. Nice try. cuba and cal - same problems and same good stuff, nice flows, nice multis, some punches where funny - euthanasia and double impact, opener for cal, some where just okay, some where played.. infancy and writing on the wall.. overall too solid verses, nothing spectacular tho, you's will have to work on better punches to advance against better opponents. rap and silber - okay verses, good attempts to diss, but very simplistic, simple plays which could be used on anyone - fag/ smoked - may seem good, but have been used countless times before, same with drag queens, and there is no room in battles for big ups, i.e. it was me who done it, no one fears ya, didnt attack me, etc, again these can seem alright but are all lines away from attacking your opponents, good aggrssion but pretty misguided. overall vote CC |

The verses hit in the exact order of the place the were posted, Cali's being the best to me...
Cuba and Cal came into this knowing they were highly favored, and it showed in the verse in good ways and bad ways... I like how you two looked down on 'em, but that concept got repititive in some parts. All ya'll punches still hit... Like woods said, ya'll would have to step it up against better opponents imo... Flow in ya'll two verses were just better and more direct than the other two opponents... Rap's verse showed potential. Lines were too long which messed up flow, but I saw some ideas that could be developed. Definitely not a wack verse... Not great eaither though. Silber... I havent read much of Silber's stuff, but the verse seemed rushed... Either that or you ran out of ideas as your verse went on... Needed to be more much more direct to compete... Overall, Cuba and Cali jsut showed more experience and skill in overall battling... They won. v/ Cuba and Cali |
