your opener was fucking great.. cracked shins/snatched bling doesnt rhyme..im guessing you're not from america so your accent might effect that.. funny idea though.. good concept.. not to cleverly worded though.. could've been more witty with that.. your next few bars were all focused on nameplays which imo got kinda boring.. i mean your concepts and spins on shit were pretty tight.. but at the same time your whole verse was basically a shot at his name.. the food chain line was ok.. but your wording wasn't there.. Chain you had a nice smoooth flow throughout the battle.. punches landed effectively.. personals were on point.. I really enjoyed the read.. you flow smooth and relaxed but the humor and witt behind your punches just kills it.. Fairly clear victory for Chain here in my view... Spume, you came pretty formulaic...a lot of 'Chain' plays, I'd say you kept it to a decent standard, became weaker as you went on...you should stick to one's more like "drag Chain into deep waters" which include a diss...and less to one's like "Chain mail" and "Chain reaction", which are decent ideas in themselves but there isn't a diss there...in terms of rhyme scheme, it was again, decent...things like "rebirth read worse" are nice but you could do with a 'less is more' approach generally...it's a bit too formulaic & simplistic (i.e. longer multis & less of them)...mix it up with some complexity but more times than not it read like it was there for the sake of it rather than to add anything...you could also do with varying your attack & being more creative in your disses...you essentially came at him on one level, tried to mix it up with the dick riders line @ the end but it wasn't done well at all...more of a jab Chain, much more sophisticated of a verse...you can see there's more 'shape' to it straight away...you're using less words but you're actually saying more. I didn't think it was a great verse in terms of hitting him hard consistently, but you landed a few hefty hits in there...loved the first line, showed your class & the follow up on that was awesome...Freudian Slips is pretty hard material, scurred to reply pretty much bodied him...closed it out nice as well with ship/reject/cheerlead hits...rest of it was take it or leave it really, except that "gay bars mean" line...ouch!! So yeah, pretty comprehensive win for Chain...when you compare quality of hits & the overall approach to flow/structure/verse as a whole, Chain's above Spume here. Therefore vote goes to Chain. -------------
