Also I have to add there were NUMEROUS open mic drops from the likes of FO and KI for example that had 1 to 2 replys and got lost on the deeper pages...then I see Ashleychaos has 10-11? For real get your heads out of your ass's...that shit shouldnt happen..no hate on you Ash but there drops were 100 times more potent... just sayin lets get our priorities straight...also vote on LOTD for the love of fucking christ ------------- |

For me, it comes down to a couple drops that I just personally enjoyed to a high level: Pandemonium Pt. 2 The Broken Maiden Exiled Radioactive I think I've read them all at this point and left feed on them all (or tried to) and I think Exiled is the one that really stood out in the end mainly because of the concept and execution...When I finished reading it, it just felt like a complete work of high quality...Still, it was a pretty good month here...Lots of drops that showed massive elevation and some great collabs (Radioactive, HG, Ash/Chain, Exo/Dress, Exo/Smooth, IRS, etc.). V/Exiled -------------

Aight, I strongly reccommend peeps to read ALL the selected verses, there's tons of good reading material up in here and you probably missed some gems like I did. Props to Exo for picking out selections. Everybody did their thing and February was a great months for OMs, many tight contributions, no clear winner imo. For me it boils down to these:
6. The Drum major instinct - That effortless writing style. 5. Radioactive - Nice fusion of different styles, dope theme. 4. The kings speech - Just craziness. 3. The broken Maiden - Conveyed the strongest emotional BARS# 2. Self help vol 2 - Funniest conceptual idea. But my fav was... 1. The generation game - Gets my vote with the best flow of February, that thing was just so smooth like hot butter all the way trough. Keeks the best kid and the free's reflect this, Weak are left with only dreams selective, Jeez.. The message is that mean's effective, He's subjective, but raps stream perspective, Geeks impressive.. After reading through them all and feeding everything I missed. It's definitely a tough choice, there was a couple outside of the polls that read and considers. Exo and DTK's collab and JBrenn's February Baby. Exo and smooth determents was another that could have been up there. Really there was just so many good open mics in the month of February. I have been meaning to drop a vote in here....
This month there was a shitload of great drops, including UN's self hype, Ki's L and Inks's piece. I really thought dudes were steppin up their game. But with that said the one that I really was feelin was Que: "Migration of the weaklings" - I thought this whole verse was just harsh and bar for bar was hitting. I would say Ink's would be my second choice...and very close 2nd choice...but I really liked Que's....
