Clash For The Cash Prelims

Battle Rules

- 8 lines per battler

-Due by January 4th, 2014 (11:59pm EST)

- 3-0KO, First to 5

-Verses must be pm'd to me and I will post them in the battle

-No free posting, or talking in battle thread that CFC threads
(Only VERSES and VOTES should be in battle thread
I will disqualify you myself if you do not obey that rule)
*If the battle needs a bump, I will take care of it or pm other members online to give it a look.

This was a bit of murder here.. But it's all love and elevation, so let's get in to it. 

Ashley.. You have the right idea, your set ups are fine, and I kept reading them like, 'Oh yeah, nice one, now here comes the killer punch!..' - And it never came. It seems like you concentrated on clowning set ups, without thinking about what you were gonna do at the end, saying he has a 'gimp style' or whatever. With that example, if you were gonna make such a generic punch, you could've at least had a set up that talked about him, 'masking his lines', you know what I mean? Just always know where you're going with a bar. There's so much potential though, and you've been put up against a good dude, so keep your head up and keep elevating. 

X.. I haven't got much to say to you man. You killed it. Some of the punches may be seen as obvious or played.. But fuck that! Every bar has been used somewhere in the world, so as long as its got punch and worded right.. I like that shit. I loved the cleaning your gun bar in particular. Keep up this standard, and you should fight your corner in this mate.

This was really basic too and not really attacking him

Most of your verse was just pretty much saying "you're going to lose", rather than actually trying to make him lose by throwing decent punches. You have the right ideas by trying to integrate personals like with the Big Game and X nameplays but you didn't pull them off. Try and be alot more aggressive when you write these kind of bars. Just look at Xplicit's opener, thats how you pull off an effective, aggressive punch.

This was funny but the wording wasn't right. You should have said "only way we'll see ash at the top is when she's bumping her threads" or something like that, to make a bit more direct. Nonetheless it was a good closer


Overall this was a solid verse I thought, the opener and the 'stop chaos' bars were really solid punches. I like your style and you did more than enough to take this
