Brotha Goose: The verse was Google 101 incorporated into a battle which isn't the best way to get at the head. some things were clever had this been a personals battle it might have worked. The vocab was nice and some rhyme use but there was not really anything that hit him hard.

Crusade: You came with a str8 battle verse, there were DIRECT personals, which in comparison to your opponent made much more impact. You had some punches, they were not very strong, but they assisted and were to the point. If you stay away from punches like "watching ABC" you'd be good.

I can't say I was diggin' either verse to be honest, but the overly used Google approach is not dope in a battle, nothing is very direct, you're dissing a choice of name as if he IS the crusades, not really enough to make me think it hurt ya comp. Crusade had a flat out battle verse, mixed up some stuff a bit, had a few hits and misses, but held ground.

BG (my vote)- I liked his use of terminology and history. I like he based it all on  his opponents name. though I do agree he did take it a little to far and should have approach his opponent a little more harshly

In rap battle, terminology does not become just as much as an importance as punch lines and DIRECT hits are. BG was basicaly dancing along the lines, his verse simply felt like a history of the Crusades, filled with self-hype and little to none insults towards his opponent. Tell me what kind of battle rapper would use those lyrics BG has battled with within a tens of tens of hip-hop fanatics. Absolutely zero percent in his verse was personal nor insulting. But I do thank your vote and will use your feedback. Please re-read both verses, and tell me if you still feel the same way in terms of battle rap, not a topical verse.

With the crap going on in my life and the schoolwork I need to address towards, I tend to have a hard time finding a balance between priorities and hobbies. I might've not spit the best verse in the world, but last time Ive checked, personal shots and decent punchlines reign over self-hype and Hole War Lectures. And I am not the only one who shares the same opinion. It is surprising how a verse that was influenced by a Wikipedia Page is voted more than a verse that was influenced by a variety of Lyrical Assault Pages.

In all good consciousness, my bars might have not been on their A-Game, but they have definitely slayed your shitty verse since they were more direct and had content that insulted you personally, instead of giving a damn lecture about the Holy War and making historical references. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you are a mighty emcee and have a potential to be among one of the greats, but I am just delivering my input in an honest manner. I am just expressing how decent punches and personals reign victorious over self-hype and historical references, and how this Crusade is not a Holy War, but is instead a hispanic teenager who has no friends (and believes he doesnt need any to succeed), son of two immigrant parents who makes eight dollars a day from the work of the labor force my dad serves upon and is violently and humiliatingly beat by the fists and whips of his own mother, and was born when his mom was 15 years old (I just gave you and any one who researches properly weaknesses to make their jobs more easier so I cant hear all this mediocre bullshit dissing me being voted); try to insult that type of Crusade instead of aiming for historical references and overused battle ideals. Which is more probable a battle rapper might use: a verse filled with self-hype and historical references or a verse filled with personals and decent blows.
