havent been here for 2 long but so far these are the people that have influenced me THE MOST:

Frank White - Getting me into the site

Orion - Just for being who he is, sick lyricist, does his job as a mod well, and for generally jus helpin me out if i need him

Sym - Helping me out with my rhymez and jus giving me his opinion on stuff, and jus givin me advice n shit like that

Illa - his stuff jus makes u say "Damn, thats sum good shit right there", basically showin people how its done

Hanging - Same as what Raptor said

1) REALIST- He's a producer from Realist Records. He ain't world famous! But he has sent me his own produced beatz, and tellin me to get ma arse out dere and get ma voice and lyrics heard! He busy and I ain't spoken for donkeys, but if u out there homie, god bless ya!

2) TOKE/RAPTOR- I met dis unknown fella at da time in da ollllllld days of open chatrooms! He was dissed for poor battle raps! I felt sorry for dis guy! Wen gettin 2 know him, HE LIKED WU, REDMAN, METH, GZA eg. Dis guy could remember lyrics from dem in a flash! I gave dis guy encouragement and joined me in SRD. Now, although da crew finished, he iz destroyin opponants and makin killer spitz at da drop of a Wu hat! Peace to ya son!

3) FRQ/XXSPLOSIVE- Me and dis dawg go waay back also from SRD days! Dis guy is funny like a full time job, drops sum classic diss battles! and bothers to put ma rap tracks onto hiz sites! Plus, dis guys been through shit in life, and he's still standin! Well done bro, pounds of respect to ya!!!!! 1  

4) ILLA- One of dose few peeps on dis site dat can actually drop sick audio raps wivout soundin like he's suckin da mic, or soundin crackly as a rice krispy grain! Plus hiz raps have meanings and stories, and not random blabber and whisperin like others dat have audio spat on LA! Plus Illa is nice and polite. Lookin forward to workin wid ya, and good luck to wat ya do in da future! 1

5) SEVEN RHYMERZ- Waz da origin of SRD! If he did not wack us up all together den I would neva know who XX or RAPtor were, and I would have neva discovered if I could rap or lyric write. Shame, as he was a busy bloke and had betta thingz to do! If ya out there boi! All da best to ya! 1

6) FROZEN- Waz another spot of pure talent! Had alotta wit and could use dat as hiz weapon! He was one of da best rap writers in SRD. But his online apperences became reduced due to troubles in hiz personal life! Hope ya well man, stay safe! 1

7) TRACK SLAYER- Waz born 2 be talent! He waz da best freestyler of SRD! He waz also a fella dat would neva back down from a challenge, and often came out as da victor in many of hiz battles! Since we got told dat he became signed we neva heard from him again! But he waz always polite and gave me uppins! Hope ya doin well! 1

8) CASPER- Had da best comedy and humour style of SRD. Dis made him strong in battles cause of hiz killin and funny wordplay and punches! He also did a huge part wiv 7 in creatin da SRD Crew website! He also had da ballz to drop audios even wen peeps slated him for dis! But due to turnin to Mosh music (THE DARKSIDE) he stopped comin to us! peace to ya Casp! 1

9) METHKILLA- Waz nice as pie and had a good sense of heart and humour. In battles he would come wid da most vicious and hard hittin style makin him a KO winner most times! He also dropped audios for SRD and even sum of dem Acapella! Haz vanished since but me hopes he iz doin ok! Take care son! 1

ANYONE ELSE DAT'S GIVEN ME RESPECT AND BIG UPS! DON'T THINK I AIN'T GRATEFUL. SO HERE'S A HULKIN THANX TO THOSE PEEPS!

I'm gonna stick to the thread here.. specifically.. so influences... if you ain't included, don't be offended or nothin'...

Senor Perfecto: crazy imagination and his style of multis
SymBion: I don't use this sorta style much but it's helped me with imagination in writin'
Hanging: sicker than yo' average - puttin' seemingly unfitting lyrics into battle raps an' makin' 'em work well
King Jehu: biggest influence... we talk about rap a lot, and about stuff we're writin', ideas n' shit - and his praise actually gave me reason to stay after the LMS battle with ILLA - respect.

Overall with no disrespect to any of these... my biggest influences by far are people like Chino XL, Pharoahe Monch and KRS One - mad rappers - there are loads of others too: Big L, Pun and Notorious, Pac, Meth, GZA, Talib Kweli, 5'9, even Mos Def... the list goes on...

And as Jehu said I didn't start perfect to say the least... I mean I knew all the techniques but took time to adjust to what LA/internet battle-rap was all about and what peeps were lookin' for, as I've never been on any other site, and only been on this one three months as it is...

Lastly, there are props to people like ILLA, P-Man, TeC (have read some tho I was never here when he was), Raptor, Stalin, BSD, even IceC in the short time he's been here has made me think... none of ya influenced me (yet), but you all dope.
