   02 Sep 2013 - that's the referred date
seems like forever since my accounts birthday
it was only natural I'd hit LA like an earthquake
not first wave, reppin second gen to the bitter end  
our work measured in fresher trends within hidden gems
now the scene seems quiet, I remember times strident
when psyched writers would incite riots over site-bias

quit? guess I can't, another hit about to land
I see all these clumsy concepts getting out of hand
the current new school, what's up with these dudes
drop em a few and they be like 'Grok is this true?'
not the one to gatekeep, yet it's delicate lately
disses labeled hate speech or sued like a drake-beef 
calling them writers, that's rather misappropriation
gotta traumatize heads so they can feel this association

befuddled fools aiming to take a double w
acting a problem, guess I'll troubleshoot
haters and naysayers depraved of making haymakers
evading the labour they'll come out scathed later 
like a gun to the chest or vicious lumps in the flesh
putting the one to the test is presumptuous death
a trio of things happens if you try, you get thrashed, you die
then die again of embarrassment by your life flashing you by

no offense taken I presume
I'd rather entertain than be rude
call it swaying the truth or paying my dues
just scratching an itch if you catch my drift
now somebody else may get back in this bitch
