Terror Squad WAS the most slept on group of all time. They
dropped a pretty hot album ("True Story") and they've had the most
underrated NY emcees: Armagedon and Prospect. Fat Joe's flow has
improved drastically in an era where ppl start off good and then suck.
Remy Martin is incredible; she's quick to battle anyone when she goes
out to clubs. I saw her at a club 2 months ago, on her birthday(it was
also my girl's birthday). She tore up the stage... Now New York is
taking notice. Hopefully others do. Most overrated? Kanye. "The savior
of hip hop" Bullshit.
Black Thought from the roots is also underrated. |

T-Squad's first album was pretty good, but yeah - they fell off. Most slept on? Hmmm... I gues that depends on how you look at it. Alot of cats get critical acclaim, but don't move as many units or get heavy rotation. Or vice versa. The Roots are on point, Black Thought in particular. I think Immortal Technique is sick as fuck, and deep as shit. Download Dance With The Devil. That shit is thought provoking... Let's see... The Living Legends, Sly Boogy, Mos Def, Scarface, Eyedea, Brother Ali, Andre Nickatina, Ghostface Killah, Shaq-Fu...(I'm just fuckin' on that last one...) As far as OVER-rated, Kanye obviously, I know alot of cats will hate on this one, but I fucking hate B-Real lately, Black Eyed Peas, Sean FUCKING Paul, anyone on Shady Records NOT named Marshall Mathers or Obie Trice, and Obie's pushin' it, Jay-Z, Chingy, Nelly - DEFINITELY Nelly -, Twista (right now), Beastie Boys, there's alot more, but I'm lazy... |

So true. Fabolous has settled in real fine with his multis and wordplay... His first single was still the biggest piece of shit though.. so annoying. I love his relaxed flow. His freestyles are sick too. Pac and Big were overrated |

Twista and Kayne are prolly over rated a bit, but Kayne is pretty fresh and has some whitty lines, so I aint gona hate on him....he doing his thing. Eminem is also over rated, he used to be raw but now he doesnt seem to have any motivation...His drop on the Jada album was a disgrace...certainly had fell off Kalesnekof (htf u spell that) is slept on as well...guy is sick as fuck |

Wu Tang as a group get quite a bit of praise, mind you they get a lot of attention jus' cuz there's so many of the MFers an' a lot of their "fans" don't know shit an' are the MTV Base fanatics you see about. Individually and as a group they're mindblowin' tho, Triumph is fuckin' timeless. 36 Chambers is probably the strongest but Forever and The W still have mad mad tracks on 'em, they ain't put out a flop yet. So I guess you could say they're slept on by people's opinions you can take seriously, but a lot of the mindless pop-culture faggots dig 'em after hearin' like 3 tunes. |
