alrite i was having a hard time coming up with things to write about does anyone have any suggestions to help me pick topics to write about?

write about whats on your mind as in your life and how you grew up, emotions such as dpression, if you like a girl then why not write about her
or go through open mic and think of stuff and get inspired
or go and google "random topic generator"

write what you know. iv been havin trouble findin inspiration myself lately too. not because i dont know anything lol. other reasons. smoking more weed helped me. aside from that give it sum time freestyle n rhyme in your head non stop. sumin dope will hit you soon enough n run with it from there

if you don't know what to write about....just write in rhyme...or think in rhyme...and at some point you'll catch a steady train of thought...and then you run with it...you put it ALL down...and then u can cut shit out if u want...

If you stuck about what to write about chances are you are a new writer and it has more to do with your rhyming 'vocab'...like you can't connect the words together so can't conceive of tackling a topic
Learn to walk before you can run I'd say...rhyme about anything, doesn't really matter if it says on the same topic, concentrate on developing that side first then worry about the concepts and ideas later |

when i was younger...i used to choose a topic...or rather, and idea for a story...like "its this guy's birthday and he comes home and finds his dad sleeping with his girl"...and then i would start writing the story...and i'd try to make it rhyme...and as the story went on, it got easier...even if the rhyming is shitty at first, its good practice
