sparta - Opener was ok, good concept, a little bit of a stretch but I think it worked. Next bar seemed fillerish which is disappointing in an 8 line battle. The "flow on his multis" was pretty fun, nice personal hit. And the closer was pretty weak, not a great note to end the verse on.
DTK - I thought your first 4 lines were really nice. Good, clever hits which I felt landed pretty well. However I felt the last 4 lines dropped off, the G-Unit line just didn't hit at all and the closer was just fillerish, not really a punch at sparta.
Overall - I make it 2 good hits for both and 2 weak/filler punches for both so this was a close battle. But I think im gonna go with DTK on this one, I felt he hit slightly harder and his weaker stuff (the G-Unit line) was a little bit stronger than spartas weaker stuff. Really close battle.

^Was ok, but the problem with talking about artist's apart from the joke ones is that the effect of the punch is always going to come down to the preference of the audience..

This was real close.. Both came nice, though sparta had a dope opener but the next 3 bars where on the avarage side.. DTK opener too was dope, 2nd an' 3rd bars we're aiight an' the closer was okay, nothin' real stand out..
Close like i said but DTK just edged it for me.. Vote.. DTK.. |
