Ok....
UK Kyza - Undoubtedly my fave UK head, dope flow, ill lyrics and more swag than burglar bill Klashnekoff - Another TF head, usually rated above Kyza but I put him slightly lower down Equip - Geordie head, flows off the chain 12 Guage - Manc head, pretty underground coz he's always in fuckin nick, best freestyler i've ever heard/seen YoshOne/Hangman - southern dude i think from around basingstoke, again pretty undergroud, mixes alot of jazz sensibility into shit that makes it completely unique US Demigodz - nuff said. Buck 65 - actually pretty impressed someone else here listens to him, way "out there" in hiphop terms, dude is a phenominal musician aswell as a witty lyricist. Last Emperor - listen to "one life" and tell me i'm wrong JMT/Vinny Paz - Might be a cliche these days but I was sold all them years ago when I first heard the psycho-social lp Aesop Rock - again, nuff said. |

Yea manc, your right bout skinny, but his album was soo sick..i think he'll always be up there
for the UK hip hop..a pioneer...hopefully he'll get on top of it again.....actually cant believe i missed foreign beggars off there!!! they came to sydney when i was there but i was leavin the y day they performed...was gutted lol ive not mentioned the derby scene....n its apositive place for hiphop with the likes of Baby J - Top 3 UK producers in my book... Alex Blood...preffered his older stuff but still a top mc n Rukus n the Antourage Fam..aaaallll good lol Saw roots manuva over here in sydney...actually one of the best days in my life...line was Dilated peoples...then ugly duckling....then roots manuva...then meth n red...they was a load of others there too...but these guys just killed it...Roots manuva was Siiickcckkkkck...although dialted peoples stole the day...just...amazing....pure talent!! |

Ive hit some silly gigs in my time and the Red and Meth Murder Squad tour gig was up there near the top of the list ...... mainly cuz they had DJ Kool as a surprise guest appearance so yano how crazy the crowd went when he jumped on stage and started bussin out "Let me clear my throat" hahaha! That was madness that night Edited by Manc - 30 July 2010 at 12:28am |
