People often get 'life on other planets' messed up in their head, like they completely discount the effects of evolution in bringing us to where we are now. If there is other life, it'd evolve to survive in it's surroundings, such is the basics of evolution and natural selection, and technically there is given bacteria has been found to be present on Mars and bacteria is a living thing. The assumption that there's another life form somewhere out there that is as advanced as ours to the stage of being able to cumminicate, and form relationships with not just other beings, but it's sourroundings is an amazingly great long shot. @ The universe stuff, the general idea without going mental on the science is it expands then contracts. So right now the universe is getting bigger and bigger, with every passing moment, but eventually it will all fall back in on itself, until every little piece of everything that is currently out there is all pulled into one converging point that is unimaginably small, then... Bang, and it all begins again.
