RULES

  • No crew votes
  • Votes in groups are best out of 5
  • Votes must be explained SUFFICIENTLY with key battle criteria explained - tournament moderator will ensure all votes are explained
  • To stop new members coming in to vote for their friends. To vote, you will have to apply (there will be a thread), and hanGing will say either yes or no. Most of the time it will be yes, but there are cases where people may try and cheat
  • It is encouraged that all members apply to vote, including contestants and new members - if we've seen enough of you to trust you aren't a fraudulent account, you're welcome to vote
  • Groups: max 8 bars
  • There will be no first or second to drop. You can drop whenever you want, as long as it's before the deadline.
  • No flips/feeding
  • All verses will be checked for biting/recycling, so don't even try it - it's not worth it
  • There will be a tourny discussion thread, but in addition to this "spam" won't be deleted from battles, so non-verse/vote posts are allowed, as long as they're relevant and non-hateful
  • Scoring. 1 point for a loss , 2 for a win and 3 for a whitewash.
  • No verse posted = -5 points.
  • SPITS DUE BY MIDNIGHT (GMT) 20th September - GET WRITING PEOPLE!!

ILLA... this was OK, you tried to switch up the rhyme scheme it came off at times, you kept punching as usual, some OK ideas but some of it was a lil predictable, got personal, BSD punch was good; in general it was quite solid as it flowed and just dissed constantly... 7.3

Frank White... first of all... a couple of your bars seemed backwards, with the harder punch coming first, which really threw the verse off, flow was OK but not as good as usual, gundpowder plot is played, the audio line had a good point but actually complimented him without realising... In general the fact you're tight with ILLA came through here, which effected your punchin' big-time... 7.1

Frank coulda beaten ILLA's verse, because it was far from his best... but ILLA had tighter flow when I rapped it, his rhyme structure wasn't always stable but his punching structure worked better than Frank's. neither of you used as much wordplay as I'd have liked to have seen, and it was all pretty weak... Close in the end. The decider was, ILLA came at Frank like he didn't like him, and it seemed like Frank was holding back at times

Righty..

Punchs:Illa was more direct..
Flow:Illa
Multis:Both werent bad/good
Wordplay:Illa (not played) frank still came ok
Personals:Both came with these frank did well but illa is in a diffrent league.

Frank shows great improvement, wordplay is gettin past
'im more notorious than 'big'' etc..major props on that.
Not the best from either at all especially illa but he took this, but it wasnt as close
as you'd predict.

nice spit from frank but illa's punches were better and like raptor said more directed, wasnt feeling illa's change of sturucture  frank gets my flow vote. but he cudnt match the I'S wordplay  making illa the winner
