This is definitely an intriguing read. You incorporated several references which might seem slightly abstract at first, but after some re-reading in combination with the additional information you provided, I think this turned out to be quite visual. It's very specific with a rather focal development display, and I'm sure that people who are more familiar with the content on hand can appreciate it even more. It's not like the usual work I've read from you so far, but it's definitely an interesting display of your unconventional schemes, even more so since it's a freestyle. I liked the "makeshift toys" and the scheme of the "shattered our physics walls" part.

Some deep metaphysical stuff here, I like it.
I think it would make an excellent ending to a spooky type of track, or something like that. Good read thanks! |

You have appealed to my inner comic nerdiness with this one. I'd barely knew of the H.P. Lovecraft stuff, but the Many Angled Ones and The Word, you hooked me right in with. Word usage, schemes and phrasings were all good in here. I can really appreciate that this really felt like reading the text equivalence of a 1-shot cross-over comic with all of these characters. You had some great imagery within this as well. I liked it.

Lol before I read your footnotes at the bottom of the verse I thought to myself, this dude has been reading a lot Marvel comics.
Personally, I've always been a big fan of the cosmic and abstract side of both Marvel and DC/Vertigo. So I'm extremely familiar with the characters/concepts mentioned. Thus, I was able to follow the story arch effortlessly. In fact, when it comes to comics, I typically tend to read those that depict the higher entities like the Abstracts or the Endless or cosmic entities or inter-dimensional beings or gods, so this was definitely a well enjoyed read for me. It almost reads like an occult mythology or creation piece, which is something I can get lost in all day. You know...I think you just put me on a spiritual rediscovery mission for today. I think I'm about to light a bowl and just drift off into the ether with meditation music playing in the background. Dope shit, Sammy. I dug it all. Peace! |

Drops like this amaze me. I've never been too read up on Gods and Mythology - so it astounds me that topics like this can make an open mic. The fact that you got my attention despite my lack of knowledge spoke volumes. What i can comment on was the rhyming structures and they were top notch. You intertwined internals and half rhymes effortlessly, not limited by an ABAB guideline. Very impressed with this bro.

@Rude, glad u liked it. Yeah i'm trying to merge the Lovecraftian cosmology with Comics as i'm a huge fan of both!
@Self yoooo!! I fuckin love cosmics and abstracts in Comics! and i LOOOVE the Endless, man! Neil Gaiman's that nigga! My favorite is Death (DC/Vertigo). I'm gonna try to incorporate her into this story somehow. @kiki thanks, bro. I really appreciate you taking time and effort to drop a feed. I will definitely return the courtesy.

Yeah, she has a lot of personality to be the personification of death. Although, from Vertigo, I think my favorite character is Lucy.
As for Marvel I like the concept behind characters like Cyttorak and the Celestials. But, yeah, bro...this was dope. I'll drop some feed on your other joint a little later today. |
