Monthly Awards: MC of The Year 04/05: Orion

MC of the Month, run by me, has been goin' a year now... Choose from the names above... From April 1st 2004 to March 31st 2005... You don't have to have been here the whole time but at the same time your vote should be serious/fair and backed up with a post or it will not count... Also you can't vote for yourself, and you should have been here at least a month to vote.

Polls will close once 20 explained votes have been cast, if there is a tie at that point, Scotty will break the tie

My vote...

Perfecto... You're a weird motherfucker but you've been consistently on LA, keystyling and battling, and one of a very few members who have been here throughout the entire year, props... But you don't put in much effort sometimes, and basically roll over willingly, as well as deliberately going around tryna piss people off to take up your time...

ILLA... A lot of you at your most classic was before April 1st 2004, but nonetheless you've been on LA consistently all year as well... Had some hot battles, beaten most around really, done a lot for LA in ILL-POWER and now in Renegades still holding it down...

P-Man... Very active battling whilst you were here but through no fault of your own, were inactive for too large a portion of the year... You held it down in ILL-POWER and had some good battles and were always elevatin' and enthusiastic...

Louie... Been in and around the whole time but like P have spent too much of the year inactive... Talented battler tho, been up against most of the vets around here...

Hanging... Always around, battled selectively but very successfully, taking out just about everyone over time... Holdin' it down in XFade then Front Line...

Noxious... What's to say... been the most active all year... most battles all year... always lookin' to improve... But... you made a load of accounts, and more recently no-showed quite a bit... And couldn't remain loyal to crews, but lately you've been holdin' it down with Front Line, props... But end of the day you weren't prolific enough on the battle field, a lot of losses...

Jehu... You more or less came into your own around March 04, and have been kickin' it at the top since then... Beaten just about everyone there is to beat, had the most classic Open Mic verses, votes a lot, active and respected in the community...

Frank White... Very similar to Noxious, only less wins, but also with that, less fuck-ups, no double accounts or no-shows etc... You've kept up improving all the time and not given up...

IceC... Master underachiever... but you've done your thing and definitely had some of the most worthwhile topical pieces and battle verses around here... and have had a positive impact on LA overall...

Hmmm... Contenders for the vote are Jehu, Hanging, ILLA and IceC in my opinion... Gonna go with the King.

Well look at the list, it's nearly all "textcees" cuz that's what this site is majoritively made up of, or has been from the beginnin' of the year anyway... I just find the term textcee demeaning to I use MC regardless, lol... And yeah Doctor Fuego ain't on there basically 'cuz he ain't been active for much of it...

he's just consistantly on top, leads the sickest crew on L.A. and always brings the heat... jehu made it a tough choice tho, because i like the way his flows are just on fucking point, and he's got skillz on the battle field too, but i just think O got more done from what i saw
