Any tourney is bound to have no shows, but you can't not have one cause you know they're gonna happen, even if we had 20 active members, there's still gonna be no shows.

But the no-ahows need to be a a minimum yes?...atm id estimate 50% of them would be no-shows if not more just look at neps leeague as a perfect example as i said id like to see one happen and if people show than it'd work fine

I say, do one.
If it fails, then it fails Atleast we tried. If it's a success then great. But there's no point in just stopping tourney all together cause we know there'll be no shows. Just need someone to run it.

retaining the crown is always nice lol...
agreed with above.. kay b and nep could have a go at running it... both active, so if one slacks the other should be able to work on it. i also think lower time limits is a call.. like a day or two.. it shouldnt take more than an hour to write a good verse, im sure most people probably take less than this. tourneys usually drag out, thus more chance for shit / work / whatever, to happen in peoples lives where they can't drop. waiting a full week for two verses and votes is too long imo. though its a bit of a catch 22 situation, with less time there may be more no shows on the cards.. people just have to get a verse in and we need to have enough stand ins to cover it. |

I'll run this. I'll speak to scooterpie tomorrow, get some sign ups up, and some rules and regs sorted.
As for the battle league, its still going to happen. I'm going through some shit with SP regarding the battle league, and we'll have another trial season, before going any further with it. No point running it now though, with a tourney in the offing. |
