Hip Hop Chit Chat: how good is this site lyrically

id say we're avarage

but from my point of view, this site is FAR BETTER than the majority of sites from a Web Design point of view

since most sites suck ass, there just a forum with members that battle

where as am tryna develope the site into more of .. well a site, rather than just the basic forum i started with

most sites stick with a forum, maybe add a couple mods here or there, but they never do it them selfs

and there always so hard to navigate (specially InvisionBoards)

like people have always said to me: LAs easy to use/navigate, everyfin is in reach etc

from a web design point of view, i like parts of GoldMic, but its rather hard to use really

and i personally wouldnt like LA to be one of these sites that has like 10,000 members and 100 new members aday, cose then its more likely we'd have even WORSE members (lyrically) and even MORE n00bs and 'abandoners' etc
and i liek the 'close' feeling, i like the fact i know members and dont think "who the fucks that?"

i only commented on the ACCTUAL site of GoldMic - am a web designer, so i look at the site

but lyrically id look at it from a 'balance' point of view

the top dogs there i'd assume are better than ares (they have like x100 the member base we do, chances are its true but i dont go there so i dunno)

but the lower end is SOOOOO much worse than LA, the worst here id say would be middle on GoldMic so on scales - GoldMic isnt that good, as you want a more consistant site, not really REALLY crap and REALLY good, you want more on the scale we have

oh and i think Egos would ruin a site, we dont have many egos here but other sites like on MSN or InvisionFree prob have LOADS of self-rated egoistic ... people

note: dont mean to offend anyone by my comments, i aint a 'MC' so i dunno really the level people are on

I think text-wise this site is very much like all the others in terms of all the others skillwise...jus on a smaller scale, coz we got a handful of dope emcees lyrically, a whole buncha ppl that aint that good and sum ppl that think they r better than they r...so I dont see any difference there...

In terms of design, this shit is easy to use...so its coo...nuff sed on that

I think where LA lacks is definately the audio department - places like Goldmic have some fukin crazy audioheads which this place really lacks...even WannaBattle doesnt have that many good audioheads, and the 1s they got tend to surf the boards a lot so WannaBattle isnt there home...textwise, WB is by far the best, it has a range of text styles that are all ill...sure there are egos, and ppl sayin they better than they r but thats bout the same as every other site - only thing bout this site is its smaller so ppl wit egos dun really care to stay here long (unless they can back themselves up )

But yeh, lyrically I'd say there are only like 5/6ppl on the site that can say they are lyrical...but waheva

i think we bring something different to the table - lots of fresh styles... and stuff that wouldnt necessarily traditionally transfer to audio..

but i enjoy it

straight up, this site is better than many other sites that i've visited, so i'd have to say its definetly between average to ill!

Sorry but the GoldMic elite are so overrated. A few on this site could murder all of them. The good GM vets (Intro, Metaphive, One Der) have either retired properly or just given up because the site's so overrun with retards.
