But yea far as Cube, he was really a crip. But he wasn't a 'soldier'.. meaning he wasnt one of the main ones headed out to battle/beef on the frontlines. Same as Ice T, or Ice T was always around crips or somethin like that. But anyway, back then 90's 80'2 most of them were really banging or gang affiliated. Now i'd say only like 25% of these rappers actually were 'hardcore' bangin, if that much. Now i aint talkin bout the numerous idjots that claim this an that. Cause anybody can claim some shit if cant nobeody get near you to check yo ass bout it. I think the whole world today is bloods. Muphuckaz in China prolly bloods too lol like "Hurry up and ride!" But na i aint never bang. Back in HS we had a crew but we all rocked grey bandanas reppin the South (confederates) an used to spray paint on EVERYTHING but that was bout it. I just think, while i like the idea of why gangs were originally started for the community, what its turned into today is ridiculous. A buncha weakminded muthafuckas that just join to be able to start shit and always have backup. Then you got lil homies older than the big homies. Niggaz be 'joining' gangs at age 28. U got Grape street Crips clean cross the counrty where aint NO dam grape street at. SMH Shit jus dumb now
