"Best MC" doesn't mean the best overall. These are people MCs OF THE MONTH remember, and their inclusion could be for improvement, consistency, a winning streak, winning as underdog multiple times, etc.

  • You must explain your vote in a post
  • Any votes unexplained will not count in the final result of the poll
  • The poll will close in one week, on 08/05/04, the time of day isn't set
    No biased votes -- dickriders are easy to spot and your votes won't be counted
  • You can't vote for yourself
  • No bitching about the selection of MCs; you can suggest, yes, but if it gets hostile the poll will be closed ASAP by a mod

OK... jus' gonna list a good and bad thing for each...

BSD:
- has stepped up and given some hot shit to some of the site's best
- still lackin' advanced multis/wordplay

Frank White:
- has improved punching substance and flow, and generally improved a whole lot
- still lacks metas/varied punches/multis

Lawless:
- some nice open mics, cool audios, generally good lyricist...
- hasn't battled as much as possible, which is a shame...

JCmess:
- has elevated a LOT... in a very short space of time
- sometimes tries too hard and his verses lose substance...

Perfecto:
- has taken on anyone and everyone in sight and dropped some top quality shit...
- occasionally got ahead of himself, took ages to drop, dropped standards a bit etc

Eternity:
- very active in Open Mic, active in general and talented
- needs better battlin' material...

SymBion:
- has dropped three or four blinding verses against some of the best
- hasn't been that active battlin'/Open Mic...

L-Blade:
- continues to elevate, battlin' some higher profile opponents
- like BSD, is lackin' advanced lyricism a bit

XXplosive:
- well I dunno what the hell he was doin' but took a great step up and did great things for CFC
- is "retiring".. and like JCmess can lose substance/coherence/fluency for the sake of wordplay/multis

Carnage:
- I was thinkin' of puttin' myself in but thought I'd leave me out for a month so peeps don't complain, Carnage has dropped some cool stuff and shows signs of elevatin', made it into ILL-POWER, too...
- see BSD and L-Blade

Will go with Perfecto for reasons already stated... and there are people like ILLA, myself, etc that I left off to give these a chance - stay active and it could be you next month...

oh, and even though all these ppl are good/improving, perfecto's been the best in that list for ages, and now he keeps dropping hot shit. BSD VERY close second...

thanx 4 puttin me on the list man, i would vote myself but aint really bin votin that much cause of been doing other stuff so am afriad i aint really seen any one on heres lyrics for a while except of course XX and frank white,

i cant really vote those tho as i havent seem the other emcees stuff so it woudlnt b fair!!!

last time i voted BSD adn probly wud again but i am hearin good feedback from perfecto also so i'll leave out voting this month but will read up more battles in order to vote in next months poll!
