Opener was pretty sick, woods. Verse flowed well, and had pretty decent content the whole way through. Very direct, nice multis, text size / props shit was nice. Didn't like the closer at all. Who uses avi punches these days? I mean really....
Jay, verse was cool, but not really direct. There was little wordplay in there, but some nice concepts. There was big opporunities for punches regarding the Ghost / Homeboys personals, but they just seemed to be pumped in there with no real tact or thought. Ultimately, woods takes this battle with more direct and consistent punches.

I thought this was a cool battle, both had a couple of decent personal punches and one or two that I thought were a bit simple (Nas for Woods - though I liked the DOA play, Jaw wrecked and to a certain extent disown you for Jay) and others like I liked, text size, opener, worst crew for Woods, opening two for Jay (not great, but were direct) and closer was ok - if an outdated concept.

Overall, I think Woods had the quality in his wordplay and intelligence in his punches to see him through...good effort by Jay, but not enough to come back

Overall, a more solid battle verse. Came harder with the punches and more creative with the wordplay.

woods opener killed it, pretty much, but also agree with what Nep had to say about the avi punch as a closer. lol
